Terms of Service

1. Who can use OpenLucy

You must be at least 18. If you use OpenLucy for a company or other organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organization.

2. What the Service is

OpenLucy is an AI employee. You write a task, and our model, running in our cloud, controls robots in the OpenLucy Browser on your computer to carry it out. Each robot is a separate browser with its own sign-ins and fingerprint.

Robots only run while the OpenLucy Browser is connected to our servers. If it cannot reach us, robots will not start.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and your organization. Tell us right away at contact@openlucy.com if you think someone else is using it.

4. You are responsible for your tasks

Robots act on your instructions, in accounts you sign in to. You are responsible for the tasks you give and for what your robots do on other websites. That includes following the law and the terms of those websites.

AI can make mistakes. Check important work, and do not give robots tasks where a mistake could cause serious harm unless you review the result first. You can watch any robot and take over at any moment.

5. What you may not do

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Other websites and proxies

Robots work on websites we do not control. Those websites may limit or close your accounts there, and we are not responsible for that. If you give a robot a proxy, you are responsible for having the right to use it.

7. Plans, credits and payment

8. Your content

Your tasks, run records and the work your robots produce belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the Service to you. We never use them to train or tune our model. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

9. Our software

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and use the OpenLucy Browser with the Service. The OpenLucy Browser includes open-source components, which are available under their own licenses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licenses.

10. Changes and availability

We are improving OpenLucy all the time, so features may change. We work to keep the Service running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, OpenLucy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or accounts. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of your tasks, your robots' actions or your breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.

14. Ending the agreement

You can stop using OpenLucy and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if the law requires it. Sections 4, 8, 11, 12, 13 and 15 still apply afterwards.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

16. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

17. Contact
