Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This policy explains what information OpenLucy collects when you use our website, the OpenLucy Browser and our cloud service, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
OpenLucy ("OpenLucy", "we", "us") provides an AI employee that works in a browser on your computer. You can reach us at contact@openlucy.com.
2. What we collect
- Account information. Your email address, name and password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- Organization information. The organization you belong to, its members and their roles.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep your plan, purchase history and credit balance.
- Tasks and runs. The instructions you write, your robots and schedules, and a record of each run: the steps taken, their results and how much credit they used.
- Screenshots. While a robot works on a task, screenshots of its browser window are sent to our servers so our model can decide the next step. A screenshot shows whatever is on that page, which may include information about you or other people.
- Proxy settings. If you give a robot a proxy, we store its address and credentials encrypted on our servers so we can start the robot with it.
- Device and connection information. A machine identifier for your computer, the version of the OpenLucy Browser, your screen size, your IP address and logs of requests to our servers.
The sign-ins and cookies inside each robot are stored on your computer, in that robot's own browser profile. This website does not set cookies. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you across other sites.
3. How we use it
- To run your tasks and show you what your robots did.
- To manage your account, organization, plan and credits.
- To prevent abuse, such as the same computer claiming free credits more than once.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and answer your questions.
- To send you messages about your account, such as sign-in and billing emails.
We never use your data to train or tune our model. That includes your tasks, run records, screenshots and sign-ins. We do not sell your information.
4. Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Cloudflare, which carries traffic between you and our servers.
- Our email delivery provider, to send you account emails.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if OpenLucy is merged, acquired or sold. This policy will still apply.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and organization information while your account is open. We keep run records and screenshots for as long as we need them to show you your history and to resolve problems, then delete them. We keep billing records as long as the law requires.
6. Security
Everything between the OpenLucy Browser and our servers travels over an encrypted link. Proxy credentials are stored encrypted. Each robot runs in its own isolated browser. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your information. Email contact@openlucy.com from the address on your account. We will answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor them.
8. Where your data is processed
Our servers are in the United States. By using OpenLucy, your information is processed there.
9. Children
OpenLucy is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
